The Anjou region of France's Loire Valley is where the Cabernet Franc grape is really at home. A little lighter than the Cabernet Sauvignon but with delightful spicy notes, it is at it's best when drunk cool. Perfumes of violets can be found against the red fruit aromas with ripe, soft tannins backing the spicy fruit palate.
