Sourced and made by Andreas Burger of the Paul Cluver winery in Elgin, this is an excellent Sauvignon Blanc where a short period of skin contact prior to fermentation ensures excellent varietal character. Aromas are clean and bright dominated by capsicum with more tropical notes above. It is well flavoured on the palate with notes of citrus fruits and a clear crisp acidity. The wine lingers in the finish with both minerality and a slightly smokey note.
