With Chablis being so famous, you'd think growers would take care in the production, but few seem to bother. If they had tasted this sensational wine from Vincent Dauvissat, them others would surely up their game! Softer than the 2006, this is a full flavoured wine with plenty of pure fruit, stoney mineral notes and clean but unobtrusive acidity. At perfection now but with a few more years to go. Despite the partial oak ageing, the wood notes are well integrated. At its best with food.
