The red wines of Bordeaux are what created the regions great reputation. The famous chateaux of the Medoc are the mainstay of this reputation yet they account for a minimal amount of what's available. This excellent little wine shows all that is best of this fine region. Merlot dominated, no oak ageing, it has glorious aromas of red berries with a clean, fresh palate and notes of spice too. A delicious quaffing wine that goes well with all red meats and poultry.
