Pure Sangiovese from the Colli Senesi near Sienna which under went traditional fermentation in ageing for 6 months in wooden barrels of various sizes. This cracking Chianti has a deep ruby red colour, a full and intense bouquet with notes of small wild berries and red fruits. On the palate it is dry, well strutured and elegant with great balance between the fruit tannins and acid. A great wine for the whole meal especially with meat dishes and young cheeses.
