This is a multi-layered, full bodied wine capable of satisfying the senses of the most demanding wine-tasters. Fermentation takes place in cement and small stainless steel tanks before maturation in 5 hectoliter casks for 6 months before being transferred to 30 hectoliter Allier oak barrels for 3 years. This intense ruby red wine has a full and open nose of ripe spicy fruit with complex meaty aromas. On the palate these flavours linger to culminate in a soft velvety finish. Great when paired with game, mature cheeses and grilled red meats.
