Made mainly from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes that were allowed to dry slowly in the loft of the vineyard until January, the grapes were crushed and fermentation proceeded slowly for over 50 days. At the beginning of March further grapes were added and a further 25 days fermentation was allowed. The brilliant and intense ruby colour leads to an intese aromas of raspberries and other red fruits. On the palate it is sweet, seductive, soft and extremley elegant with a slight balsamic note in the finish. Ideally it should be served at room temperature with desserts such as pastries, chocolate and pure fruits such as strawberries and raspberries.
