The Monprivato vineyard is totally owned by the Mascarello family and is situated in the commune of Castiglione Falletto right in the heart of the hillside with a south-west exposure. This is one of only 11 vineyards classified by Renato Ratti as being in the 1st rank and only one of 7 to enjoy the optimum south-west exposure. The wine opens with a ripe nose with hints of virginia tobacco. On the palate it has a delicious entry with a huge mouth full of fruit with hints of roses that lead to a full and complex aftertaste. A really special bottle!
