This top St Joseph from Louis Barruol’s negotiant company is a shining example of just what the appellation can offer. As yet it is tight and hard to approach yet the purity of fruit and overcoat of tannins gives it great potential for the future. To enjoy it at it’s best I’d give it until 2010 to start drinking but will be superb by 2015 with plenty more years to come.
