Chateau Moulin Rouge - Cru Bourgeois Haut Medoc

What a star! This classy little cru Bourgeois lies just outside the appellation of Margaux and is producing some stunning wine. This 2001 vintage is a real treat with the Merlot dominated blend displaying a classy claret nose of ripe blackcurrant, spice, cedar and polish. On the palate it is ripe, vibrant and fruity with great staying power in the finish. Ideal for current consumption, it is possible to cellar it for a further 5/8 years. Try it with roast lamb.
