What a great bottle for the money. This is a fantastic wine made mainly from the Merlot grape which gives aromas of spicy plums, deep fruit on the palate perfectly balanced by ripe tannins which lead through to a full and lasting aftertaste. Simply great!

This is a true example of St Emilion offering a sweet floral nose, oodles of ripe chewy fruit on the palate and a rich bloody finish that lingers for an age. Truly delightful!

This 2001 vintage is a real treat with the Merlot dominated blend displaying a classy claret nose of ripe blackcurrant, spice, cedar and polish. On the palate it is ripe, vibrant and fruity with great staying power in the finish.

The second wine of Chateau Marquis de Terme. All the elegance associated with Margaux with bright, open fruit and good depth of flavour.

Packed with ripe spicey damson fruit, it has a good tannin structure and perfect balancing acidity. Terrific value!

Classic Haut Medoc predominately Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep, rich in fruit with a good backbone of tannin. Great to drink at the moment but with many years ahead.

Loaded with dark spicy fruit and polished by the judicious use of new oak the wine is full flavoured and complete with a massive aftertaste. Although ideal for drinking at the moment it has many years of life ahead of it in bottle if you can keep your hands off it for that long!

This is a very impressive offering showing rich blackberry fruit balanced by hints of smoky new oak. Rich in tannin the wine will benefit for a further 2 or 3 years in bottle before drinking when it will really delight the palate.

2001 was an excellent vintage for the right bank of Bordeaux and is ideal for current consumption. It is packed with fruit balanced by notes of spice and hints of undergrowth. Sensational St Emilion.

Dark, intense and loaded with ripe fruit the tannins would benefit from another 2 years cellaring just to round out a little. When mature this will be a trully superb St Emilion.
