Bouchard Finlayson

Established in 1989, the Bouchard Finlayson Estate lies in the Hemel-en Anrde Valley (Heaven and Earth) which is framed by mountains and within sight of the ocean, close to Cape Point. This cool climate region is ideal for production of many varietals but in particular Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. With the vineyards scattered amongst the Fynbos (the natural flora of the region) they have an extremely sensitive approach with virtually organic farming giving grapes of high quality ideal for premium winemaking.

	Bouchard Finlayson - Blanc De Mer W1 2007 7.10 Deliciously fragrant with an inviting easy-drinking style, the bouquet has notes of green apples and melon. The palate mirrors these flavours with an open, creamy style and a firm finish.
	Bouchard Finlayson Sauvignon W1 2007 9.30 Grassy with tropical overtones, with elegant, pure fruit tones and perfect balance. In the mouth it shows immediate varietal character with great minerality to underpin with green apple and fig flavours dominant.
	Bouchard Finlayson Missionvale Chardonnay W3 2005 11.69 100% barrel fermented Chardonnay where the oak is superbly integrated into the ripe bright fruit flavours of the Chardonnay grape. Full flavoured intense and ripe with a great finish.
	Bouchard Finlayson 'Hannibal' R3 2005 14.45 This is a seductively aromatic wine with wonderful berry and herbal aromas, intense fruit on the palate with good structure and fine, ripe tannins.
	Bouchard Finlayson Galpin Peak Pinot Noir R2 2006 18.00 Deftly balanced, rich and dark with aromas of plums and floral notes, it is luscious on the palate with clearly defined fruit flavours and a full and generous finish.
