Chateau Dereszla

Chateau Dereszla is typical of many of today’s best Tokaji estates, with investment and wine-making wisdom from the French negociant Edonia. It is situated in the heart of the Tokaji Crus Classes, its soil volcanic lava covered with a sandy loam. The two traditional Tokaji grape varieties are grown, Furmint and Harslevelu, along with Muscat. Autumn mists rising from the Bodrog river valley encourage the development of noble rot, in a similar fashion to Sauternes.
