Chateau Puech Haut
Situated at the foot of Pic Saint Loup the Chateau Puech Haut was created by Gerard Bru. The 65 hectares are all within the appellation of Coteaux du Languedoc. Vinification takes place in large wooden fermenters followed by ageing in oak barrels. The climate is influenced by the presence of the sea and as the Chateau is situated between the garrigue and the Mediteranean benefits from a special micro climate. The largest part of the vineyards are on exposed hillsides with large stone deposits on the surface of the soil giving extra warmth during the evening and extra reflected sunlight during the day. This is one of the top estates of the Languedoc and should be a must for any cellar.

A wonderful nose of ripe fruit which is full yet elegant, a great entry on the palate that is really chewy and full of ripe red fruits with some notes of spice leads to a full and vibrant finish.
