Collin-Bourisset
The Collin-Bourisset company dates back to 1821. It is a traditional negociant house in that, apart from one Hospice vineyard in Moulin-a-Vent, it owns no vines. This allows the company to select and buy only the best wines from growers on an annual basis according to quality, and to bottle and mature them under optimum conditions. The genial Ed Steeves, who runs the company, used to work in the American wine trade, but moved to France when he married his charming wife, Monique.

This delicious and very attractive cherry-coloured wine with its bouquet of strawberries and blackcurrants is smooth and well-balanced.

Clean, bright aromas of hawthorn and other white blossoms, a delicious mouthfull of fruit on the palate and a soft refreshing finish. So typical of all that is great in the Macconais and offering even greater value for money on this offer. Great by itself or with white meats, fish and ham.

Aromas of irises and red fruits, chewy ripe red fruits on the palate and a good finish all make this a terrific Cru Beaujolais that is ideal for everyday drinking or at the finest dinner party.

Morgon is one of the largest crus of the Beaujolais and generally produces wines that are robust and age well. The soft, silky perfume of ripe berries leads to a full and generous palate with good structure and power.

A great example of Fleurie packed with raspberry , blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Elegant and persistant it is really at home with ham or poultry dishes. A great introduction to red wine!

Magnificient wine and perhaps the greatest wine of the Beaujolais. It is simply bursting with ripe cherry fruit with overtones of cigarbox adding complexity. Simply divine!

This sensational wine with bottle age on its side is more akin to the wines of the Cote d’Or than the Beaujolais. The wine is full flavoured and ripe with complex fruit flavours that develop as you drink the bottle. Truly excellent wine!
