Domaine Darragon

This small family run estate based in the hamlet of Sanzelle just outside the village of Vouvray has for some years now been producing the most exquisite wines you can imagine. Made purely from the Chenin Blanc grape the wines range from dry through demi-sec to Moelleux making the range ideal for use throughout a meal. Pierre Darragon doesn't claim to use any special techniques in making his wine but attention to detail has become 2nd nature to him and this shines through in every bottle.

A full and luscious bouquet with hints of apple backed by more complex aromas lead to a ripe and ample palate with just a trace of sweetness to help carry the enormous fruit flavour and balanced by a perfect level of acidity to refresh the palate.
	Vouvray Moelleux Clos de l'Auberdiere - Domaine Darragon SW 1990 20.74 The rich and full nose has many complex flavours with developed fruit due to its age in bottle. On the palate it is rich, honeyed yet suprisingly fresh for its age and finishes with a full and vibrant aftertaste.
