Domaine Des Aurelles

One of the star performers of the Herault with vineyards established on the chalky hilltops above Pezanas. The vines are the best of the traditional varieties, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan plus the successful Syrah. These really are good wines with great complexity chiefly derived from the terroir with winemaking allowing it to speak rather than smothering it. A domaine to watch.
