Domaine Du P'tit Paradis
Situated in the appellation of Chenas and surrounded by vines for as far as the eye can see, this truly is a little bit of paradise! Denise Margeron works this small estate by herself following the death of her brother and is making some of the greatest wines of the Beaujolais. There is no magic to the winemaking, just the ever vigilant eye of Denise after meticulous work in the vineyards. Do try her wines, they are fantastic.

Well coloured with aromas of plums and cherries, delicious sweet fruit on the palate and perfectly balanced with a good overcoat of tannin and a dark lingering finish.

Grown in the granite rich soils of Ronameche Thorins, this is a full and vigorous style of Beaujolais with bright fruit aromas and flavours with notes of cigar box. Big in the aftertaste, it is drinking well at the moment but will develop in bottle over the coming 5 years to approach the style of the Cote d'Or.
