Domaine Hubert Brochard

Daniel Brochard and his brothers are based in the village of Chavignol, a couple of kilometres west of Sancerre, where some of the finest wines (and goat's cheeses) are made. It is just outside Chavignol that Sancerre’s most famous vineyard is situated, Les Monts Damnes, and Brochard’s top cuvee comes exclusively from this vineyard.

	Les Carisannes Pinot Noir Rose - Domaine Brochard RO 2006 6.40 A delicious Rose made purely from Pinot Noir grapes. Fruit just bursts from the glass on opening with wonderful aromas of summer fruits and red berries that are developed on the palate and combine with a refreshing clip of acidity.
	Sancerre 'Les Collines Blanches' - Domaine Hubert Brochard W1 2006 10.11 Fresh and fragrant and packed with gooseberry fruit. Terrific with shellfish and goats cheese.
	Sancerre Rose - Domaine Hubert Brochard RO 2006 10.22 Pure Pinot Noir. Light and fruity with gorgeous berry notes and flavours. Serve slightly chilled but not too much. Great at lunchtime.
	Sancerre 'Silex' Domaine Hubert Brochard W1 2005 11.22 Grown in the silex soil, rich in limestone deposits, this is a stunning Sancerre giving bright fruit aromas balanced by a crisp acidity and a dry minerality in the finish. First Class!
