This is a very impressive offering showing rich blackberry fruit balanced by hints of smoky new oak. Rich in tannin the wine will benefit for a further 2 or 3 years in bottle before drinking when it will really delight the palate.

There is good substance in the mouth with primary fruit still obvious with as well as more developed flavours and aromas.

This fantastic wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot making it easy to see why the wine has such a complex nature. The wonderful aromas of cedar and pencil shavings support the depth of fruit from the Shiraz component. On the palate it is dominated by black fruit with a rich fruit cake core that are backed by soft ripe tannins.
