A stunning white burgundy showing great class and breeding. The wine has a wonderful open nose with aromas of sweet ripe chardonnay and nuances of oak. On the palate it is rich in flavour with good level of acidity, loads of pure fruit and more complex notes behind.

Almost like drinking Amarone, this is a richly fruited wine with intense flavours of dried berries, a full and spicy palate and a rich, lingering finish.

This is a delicious dessert wine with notes of orange peel and a clear, bright acidity to balance the sweetness and purity of fruit.

The tell-tale aromatics of Margaux are bright and full with a soft sweet, black fruit palate balanced by spicy notes and hints of cedar. Drink now (2009) but will cellar for a decade or so.

Although this is not a 1er Cru vineyard it consistently makes delicious wines under the direction of this Domaine. Deliciously fruity with a fine spice and now more complex secondary flavours coming from its ageing in bottle. Ideal to drink now and especially good with strong soft cheeses.

With flavours of prunes predominant against hints of beeswax and vanilla.

Rich in fruit and spice with good backbone and structure, hints of liquorice and a long, full finish. Syrah at its best with a tantalising development as you drink down the bottle.

Sweet ripe plum and black fruit aromas, a generous palate with tannins still very evident and notes of spice and liquorice behind and a full and generous finish. This wine will benefit from a couple more years in bottle, though can be fine now (2009) if decanted for an hour or so.

This is a very impressive offering showing rich blackberry fruit balanced by hints of smoky new oak. Rich in tannin the wine will benefit for a further 2 or 3 years in bottle before drinking when it will really delight the palate.

There is good substance in the mouth with primary fruit still obvious with as well as more developed flavours and aromas.

This fantastic wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot making it easy to see why the wine has such a complex nature. The wonderful aromas of cedar and pencil shavings support the depth of fruit from the Shiraz component. On the palate it is dominated by black fruit with a rich fruit cake core that are backed by soft ripe tannins.

Intensely coloured, it has huge aromas of spicy damsons and plums with well integrated oak. The palate is powerful and equally intense with plenty of ripe tannins to balance the rich fruits.

Deftly balanced, rich and dark with aromas of plums and floral notes, it is luscious on the palate with clearly defined fruit flavours and a full and generous finish.

Pure Syrah giving plenty of bright ripe blackcurrant fruit a little reminiscent of Australian Shiraz until you taste it. The palate is full and mineral with clean balancing acidity and big tannins.

The colour is a brilliant yellow. The aroma is a powerfully floral and fruity with hits of peach and apricot. In the mouth, fruity and floral with a very fine and fruity structure. Goes well with fish and white meats.
