Marcel Lapierre
The domaine Marcel Lapierre is based in Morgon in the heart of the Beaujolais Cru vineyards. Lapierre does not use the maceration carbonique fermentation technique employed by almost every other Beaujolais producer. Instead he uses the old, traditional Burgundian method with natural yeasts, thereby producing fuller wines, with real keeping potential and, above all, preserving the distinctive terroir differences between each of his wines.
