Fermented and aged in barrel, this well bred blend of Viura, Malvasia and white Garnacha grapes delivers a mouthful of ripe white fruits balanced by more complex notes from it's time in barrel on the lees. Balanced to perfection, it is ideal for drinking with or without food and is a rare breed of wine from an area dominated by the Tempranillo grape.

Breaking away from the ultra-traditional style of wine, this Cuvee Especial is a blend of several vinyards owned by the Bodega in the villages surrounding San Vicente. Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes of vines more than 30 years old, the fruit quality is exceptional and the vanilla notes from the cask maturation add a complexity and depth to the wine. Red plums and spice dominate the palate with great structure that you would associate with the fabulous 2001 vintage. A class act and a must for any collector.
