Well blanced in the mouth it has an incredible finish and is drinking perfectly now but with a further 15 years plus of life if cellared well. 93 Points Robert Parker.

A gutsy little wine with great depth of flavour for the price. The deep spicy notes of the Malbec are perfectly tempered with the berry fruit aromas and flavours of the Tempranillo.

This blend of 5 different varieties - Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Petit Verdot - come from the oldest parcels of vines of the property and from high altitude vineyards where the extended growing season gives further complexity to the fruit. Aged for 12 months in french oak barrels, this is a real blockbuster yet the 14.5% of alcohol doesn't marr the complex, ripe fruit aromas and flavours. Fantastic value.

This mixed case of 3 stunning pinks is the perfect choice for summer drinking. First is a delicious offering from Marcos Eguren. The Torre Abalde Rosado is light and fresh with delightful aromas of red berries and a perfectly balanced acidity to refresh the palate. The next wine is the Bordeaux Rose from Chateau St Florin in the Entre Deux Mers, a delicious bottle with aromas of ripe strawberries and deep, ripe fruit flavours on the palate. Made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this really is an exceptional wine. Last but certainly not least is the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo from Taverna Nova, a gloriously deeply coloured and deeply flavoured wine from the Abruzzo in Italy. Almost a light red in colour, the fruit flavours are intense and linger for an age. All three wines are really stunning and are perfect for drinking over the summer months.
