This classy offering from Bruno Lafon shows just how good the Languedoc can be. Coming from 25 year old vines (minimum age) it has a sensational bouquet of wild thyme and wood smoke, on the palate there are good fruit flavours with hints of smokey bacon. It is incredibly well balanced with great complexity with wild thyme being foremost and so reminiscent of the area too. The finish is big, long and true. A great bottle.
