A sturdy blend of 4 Rhone varieties Syrah, Carignan, Grenache Noir and Cinsault from a variety of soils ranging from coastal to the rocky soils of the garrigue. The separate winemaking of each parcel allows the soils and individual grape varieties optimum expression. This is a full bodied and powerful wine with great intensity of colour. The aromas are complex with notes of red and black fruits balanced by notes of wild herbs and spices. Rich on the palate it has great length and power whilst retaining great freshness. Hints of leather and pepper can be found in the aftertaste.
