Ther DOC of Gavi lies just above the town of Alessandria and it is where the Cortese grape grows to perfection. this is a good example with bright floral aromas, a fine, fruity palate with just a hint of CO2 to excite the palate and a crisp, clean acidity. At it's best as a food partner.
