Grown in the commune of Bannay adjacent to Sancerre, the limestone and silex soils give birth to a glorious expression of Sauvignon more reminiscent of the wines of New Zealand than Sancerre! Dry, fruity (gooseberry and pineapple) and with delightful acidity. Best consumed within 3 years of the vintage when the fresh characters are foremost.
