Moscato di Sicilia 'Ventus' - Astoria Vini
Overview
Coming from grapes grown on the small island of Pantelleria which are first dried to intensify the sugar and acid levels and then grape spirit is added during fermentation to avert the action of the yeasts leaving around 130g of residual sugar per litre. This golden nectar has wonderful aromas of candied orange and mandarin peel a sweet and enveloping palate with bright fruit and clean acidity and a lingering finish. Excellent with fruit desserts.
