Picpoul is a white wine grape that grows around the village of Pinet in the coastal reaches of the Languedoc. The grapes easily fall from the vine at ripeness and the local wild foul eat them by "pic-ing" or pecking them. It is a wonderfully crisp wine with plenty of fruit and mineral nuances. Delightfully fresh with mouthwatering citric notes.
