A classic from the Adi Badenhorst days, this is a pure Chenin Blanc where the grapes have been dried on straw mats to concentrate the sugars in the tradition of Vin De Paille. The result is a luscious nectar bursting with fruit and incredibly sweet. Not your every day dessert wine but packed with flavours of dried apricots and peaches with an intense palate that lingers for an eternity. Great to drink now but will mature up to 15 years protected by the acidity and residual sugar of 298 grams per litre!!!
