Locorotondo is one of the most famous white wines of Puglia yet to most of the English, it is unheard of unless you happen to have journeyed to Puglia.
The Cantina Sociale del Locorotondo was founded in 1930 and it is set amidst the trulli of the Itria Valley and close to both the Adriatic and Ionian seas. Today, it is one of the most modern producers of the region employing the most up-to-date techniques and equipment. The wine is not huge, more fine and well fruited with a freshness that is so appealing and it is ideally adapted to southern Italian cuisine.
In addidtion to the Locorotondo, we also buy the Casale San Giorgio red, a delicious and deeply fruited wine that works well with both summer and winter dishes.

The star of this Cantina and a very good example of Locorotondo. Fresh and fragrant with light fresh fruit and floral perfumes. Clean on the palate with a fresh acidity and a touch of salt in the finish.

Full flavoured Puglian wine from the Negro Amaro and Primitivo grapes. It displays the heat of the Mediterranean without the wine becoming the least bit flabby. Deep and intense.
