Cape Diversity - Western Cape

The Cape Diversity range celebrates the smallest yet most diverse plant kingdom on earth with over 8500 species to be found. The Cape is also a diverse place with over 11 official languages being spoken and, not forgetting the rich variety of the wines.

Each wine from the Cape Diversity range is especially crafted to ensure the typicity of the grape variety and the wine's origins in terms of vineyard site. To this end, Paul Cluver and Danie Steytler were selected to produce the opening selections.

Paul's contribution to the Cape Diversity range was with the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, mainly sourced fromthe cool climate of Elgin and vibrantly fruited whilst Danie crafted both the Chenin Blanc and Shiraz from dry-grown vines in the Stellenbosch area of the Cape. These are excellent value wines - shame about the label!!
