Chateau St Roch is the Lirac estate of the Brunel family of Chateau de la Gardine in Chateauneuf du Pape. It lies just across the river from its big brother and enjoys a very similar terroir and it is made from the same grape varieties with the same immaculate wine-making skills.
If you're looking for great value, look no further than the St Roch Cotes du Rhone. A spectacular wine at a bargain price. But as you move into the AOC Lirac wines the terroir of the area relly shines through giving wines of exceptional depth and power whilst retaining an elegance and sophistication. Incredible wines that are ideal with fine red meat.
The Chateauneuf du Pape from Chateau St Roch is a revelation and offers incredible value, displaying all of the complexity and depth that we have come to expect from the wine-making skills of Patrick Brunel. Don't be put off by the price, it's the real thing and of great quality!
