Domaine du Bicheron - Macon

Domaine du Bicheron is delightful little estate, close to the village of Peronne in the Maconnais and is run in exemplary fashion with their wines demonstrating just how delicious Chardonnay can be when it is kept away from barrels and only stainless steel is used for fermentation and ageing.

Run in tip top fashion by Denis and Genevieve Rousseau, Domaine du Bicheron started back in the mid 1900's when their ancestors prurchased 3 hectares.Now they farm over 30 hectares in the very heart of the Maconnais hills close to the villages of Pouilly and Fuisse.

The Bicheron wines show all the hallmarks of the region - hawthorn blossom and mineral notes - and certainly represent great value for money amongst a whole spectrum of Chardonnay wines from throughout the world. Wines not to be missed!
