La Chablisienne, the Cave Cooperative in Chablis was established in 1923 since then it has established itself as not only the largest producer of the appellation but also one of the finest cooperative cellars in France with almost 300 vignerons contributing to the success this really the beating heart of Chablis with vines of great finesse and distinction.
As you would expect, La Chablisienne wines are the very essence of Chablis which all too often in other producer's hands, in our opinion, is a pale reflection of what the wine should be. Here the wines show great minerality which is an expression of the Kimmeridgean Limestone that ditinguishes Chablis from other white wines and makes it a perfect partner to food.
We currently have just the one wine from La Chablisienne but it is most certainly worthy of your trying and it is the flagship cuvee of the Cooperative.
