Mas Carlot - Costieres de Nimes

The delightful Provencal property of Mas Carlot, built between the 17th and 19th centuries, is situated just outside the town of Bellegarde in the southern Rhone Valley. Owner and winemaker Nathalie Blanc-Mares runs the estate with energy and passion overseeing both vineyards and cellars operate in exemplary fashion.

Born to a family of restauranteurs from Les Halles in Paris, Natalie's philosophy for Mas Carlot is simple - to produce wines of high quality and suited to the table, with the terroir of Costieres de Nimes giving her a wonderful palette with which to craft this small yet exquisite selection of wines.

I used to think of Costieres de Nimes as simple wines but at Mas Carlot, Nathalie has crafted wines of great complexity and depth that express the true heart of the Provencal vineyards.
