Founded in 1927 in Salento by Pasquale Mottura, this family winery has always strived to maintain the local traditions and use local grape varieties - Primitivo and Negro Amaro. Their tag line is "Mediterranean blood" which is so appropriate for these deeply coloured and well flavoured wines. Their aim is constantly to offer a good price / quality rapport and we''re sure if you taste them, you''ll agree with us that they really succeed.
Mottura wines are to be found throughout Italy yet, given their quality, they have not been widely seen in the UK as yet.
The range of Mottura wines really captures every drop of that mediterranean sunshine in the bottle and these are wines that at at their best with typical southern Italian foods.
