The hilltop village of Santa Vittoria which gives it''s name to the winery, lies just to the west of the town of Alba in the Langhe hills. With no vineyards of it''s own to tend, it relies on contract grape growing for it''s harvests, thus being able to offer such wines as Gavi from the Alessandria region. All the wines are modern in style showing bright, clean fruit flavours and each one offers good value for money.
The cantina at Santa Vittoria had previously been purely to supply the local hotel and its clients but over the last few years it has developed into a completecommercial activity exporting its wines throughout the world.
For thos of you that want to enjoy the Santa Vittoria wines "in situ" so to speak, there is a wonderful restaurant that specialises in fish attached to the hotel where their complete range can be found.
