A wine of great sophistication from the Garde family that is now in the 5th generation. With 80% of Merlot and the balance evenly split between Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, this is a classy offering with a bold nose of black fruit with hints of kirsch and spice box. The palate is suave and supple with well integrated oak nuances and a long and firm finish.

Established as a mixed farm in 1866, it became purely a wine estate in the 1960's and now is producing superb wines. The vines are around 40 years old and give high quality fruit that is vinified in stainless steel tanks before ageing in both tank and barrel.
