Beaujolas Cru Wines

Thursday the 17th of November is Beaujolais Nouveau Day. This used to be a bit of fun with people racing like mad to get the first bottles on the table for breakfast, but with problems with French strikes followed by big price increases over the years, Beaujolais Nouveau has lost the fun element. But this doesn’t apply to the Beaujolais Cru! These are far more serious wines but their youthful vigor and delicious fruit flavours make them great fun to drink at any time. So why not remember the Beaujolais on this day but with a good bottle of Fleurie, Morgon, or Brouilly? You’ll have a great drink!
