3 Wines from the Abbruzzo- Constantini Vini, Febe Line

by Mixed

The Abbruzzo is one of Italy's most popular holiday destinations, being on the Adriatic Sea. But it also includes some wonderful pasture land and of course the foothills of the Apennines.

This offers the region a full array of gastronomy and thus the wines of the region offer a spectrum of flavours that will complement a myriad of dishes and tastes. Here we have selected three of the region's most popular offerings that deliver great flavours without taxing your wallet.

Each Case Contains:

A fresh, fruity and floral white wine with traces of exotic fruits above the fresh mineral notes. It's such a tasty wine with clean acidity that brings the palate to life and makes this delicious white wine a great partner to food while remaining a terrific aperitif or anytime wine with friends or at present, just by yourselves!

This beautifully crafed rose, a speciality of the Abbruzzo, is made from Montepulciano grapes and has a bright cherry red colour - hence the name. The aromas are fresh and very peristent with cherry and strawberry dominating with some faint floral notes behind. On the palate it is crisp, clean and well fruited again with red fruits dominating. It's a true anytime wine and will accompany a wide range of dishes both of fish and meat.

A superb and very affordable example of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from this super little winery. It has  a bright ruby red colour with hints of purple at the rim. The bouquet is one of red ruits with hints of marascino behind and some notes of spice. On the palate it is tasty with loads of soft fruit, well built in terms of body with a slightly rustic finish. Just the ticket for quaffing at a barbecue or savouring with some tasty meat dishes, even poultry. An excellent wine that will suit the majority of palates.

Each 6 bottle case contains two bottles of each wine and the 12 bottle case contains four bottles of each.
