This is one of the second selections of the Chateau Feret Lambert. As a Bordeaux Superieur it is well flavoured with plenty of plum and blackcurrant fruit with some floral notes above. It has a good juicy acidity and some moderate tannins. Just starting its drinking window it has some decent life ahead of it. Mainly Merlot with 15% of Cabernet Franc.

Silver Medal Winner Bordeaux
This is real wine to give pleasure with a good lively mouth-feel, a bold and well balanced palate that opens generously on pouring.
Made from 85% Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc which were grown in the chalky clay soils of Grezillac close to Libourne. The grapes after harvesting were given a cold soak to extract the fine aromas before being vinified parcel by parcel in small stainless steel vats. Ageing was in 2nd year barrels for 6 months.
