The Ginsmiths of Liverpool Dry Gin Infused with Sea Holly

This is a very traditional Dry Gin at 43% alcohol by volume. The botanicals used were Juniper, Coriander Seed, Angelica Root, Almond, Liquorice Root, Orris Root, Lemon Peel, Linden Leaf, Pink Peppercorns and Sea Holly.
The nose is dominated by citrus notes with a light fragrance of pine and some earthy characters. On the palate there is a spicy warmth along with notes of lemon and orange that is given a sweeter edge by the liquorice root. It has a velvety mouth-feel thanks to the almond and sea holly.
Drink it with a high quality tonic water with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of orange zest.
