Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon

The Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon shows the typical varietal expression of Langhorne Creek Cabernet, one of the original grape varieties to be established in the region. It offers ripe blackcurrant fruit aromas together with some savoury notes. The palate is well-balanced with plenty of ripe, dark fruits and it culminates in a pure and silky finish.

Coulthard refers back to the maiden name of Lucy and Rebecca Wilson's grandmother whose ancestors arrived in South Australia aboard the HMS Buffalo back in 1936.

Individual Cabernet parcels were fermented seperately in small open topped fermenters  to allow for excellent extraction of colour and flavour. Each parcel was matured in a mixture of French and American oak barrels, a portion of which were new. The best individual parcels and barrels were selected to create the Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon.
