Chateau Cos Labory - 5ieme Cru St Estephe 2016

This top class property located on the Cos hill of St Estephe is a chewy and chunky claret that will age for a further decade or so from now (2022) and certainly reward the patient. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot with just a hint of Cabernet Franc, it's a bold wine as you would expect from this appellation and now the new oak from the cask maturation is becoming well integrated into the wine it's ready for enjoying. Only 100,000 bottles were made which by Bordeaux standards is tiny so garb it while you can.
