Guardian Peak Frontier Cabernet Sauvignon
Guardian Peak Frontier Cabernet Sauvignon has a really complex nose and palate, with aromas of plums, blueberries and notes of lead pencil shavings. On the palate, red and black fruit flavours are backed up by the blueberry from the nose and a toasty character that rounds things off. Full bodied and with a rich mouthfeel, a ripe mid-palate and a fantastic, long, balanced aftertaste.

Why we like this wine
Cabernet Sauvignon can at times be lacking a little when not paired with its usual room mate Merlot. This has gained loads of complexity from the vineyard and thus delivers a wonderful expression of the Cabernet grape. The oak is well integrated too so does not dominate the wine. All in all it's a great Cabernet wine.
- A great expression of Cabernet Sauvignon
- Ripe and complex with good power
- Well priced for a pure Cabernet Sauvignon
