Something for Sushi?
Although Sushi has never really been a great love of mine, I’ve noticed that many younger people are loving eating it, so I thought I’d best get round to trying some again. It was fine but I needed a drink, so I tried various things to make the pairing go with a bang and you know what, a decent glass of white wine made both items better.
So, here are my best pairings for a variety of Sushi to help you get the best from your lunch or dinner.
Top was Albarino Val do Salnes from Terra de Asorei. Coming in a close second was the Gruner veltliner from Weingut Stadlamann in Austria. Both Gavi from Etichetta Bianca from Tenuta la Marchesa and Muscadet sur Lie from Chateau de la Ragotiere also worked well.
