This unique blend from Vega Badenes works extremely well and here they have produced a light red, full of red berry character that is an admirable quaffing wine. The aromas are bright and fruity, the palate soft, well fruited and chewy with light, inobtrusive tannins. It lasts well in the finish and leaves a pleasant, fruity aftertaste. Vega Badenes is a modern Bodega based in La Mancha. It is just 15 years old yet in this time it has become one of the leaders in supplying high quality table wines in Spain.
However, the family history as fruit growers goes back three generations and they are also one of the largest producers of Olive Oil in Andalusia. All things are based on quality. The winery is based in Manzanares, close to Cuidad Real and boasts a production of 40 million litres per annum. Everything is high-tech as you would assume for such a young winery and this modernism ensures a strict quality control ensuring each bottle is perfect when it reaches you.
