Pares Balta Cava Blanca Cusine is bright golden-coloured, the nose is redolent of roasted almonds and hazelnuts with softer honey and prickly pear fruit aromas underneath. On the palate it is fresh and round, displaying notes of ripe and candied fruits together with flavours of almonds and honey that last through the full length of the finish.

The 2010 Parés Baltà Cava Blanca Cusiné is a blend of 60% Xarel.lo, 20% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, assembled without dosage in a Brut Nature style. Two classic sparkling wine grape varieties join Cava's own Xarel.lo, influenced by the climate and the soil in the Les Torres vineyard 700m up in the mountains of Penedès. The initial fermentation of the Xarel.lo and Chardonnay took place in stainless steel tanks and that of the Pinot Noir in new French oak barrels. Following the traditional method, the secondary fermentation took place in bottle and the Parés Baltà Cava Blanca Cusiné rested on its lees for 30 months.
