Six distinctive and very different examples of red Burgundy from some of the region's better producers. Ranging from lighter to fuller bodied and from fruity to firmer, more mineral in style, there's certainly plenty to get your teeth into.

In this selection:

Domaine du Bicheron - Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018

A straight forward and simple Burgundy with plenty of fruit and some complex secondary aromas and flavours.

Domaine Boigelot Monthelie Rouge 2017

Monthelie Rouge is surprisingly well structured, both solidly built and filled with fruit

Domaine Pascal Prunier Beaune Les Bons Feuves 2017

An excellent offering from Pascal with a generous palate, round and ample fruit on the palate supported by soft, ripe tannins and a generous finish.

Domaine Tollot Beaut Chorey les Beaune 2020

Black fruit and spices with notes of kirsch above, with a touch of Pinot Noir's distinctive sappiness on the palate.

Savigny les Beaune Les Bas Liards - Pierre Meurgey 2017

A wine built for drinking now, it has good ripe fruit flavours with cherry dominant with some light spice notes behind. There is a faint whiff of vanilla from the cask maturation but everything is well integrated and this is very much a wine for current drinking with some good hearty meat dishes.

Domaine Fontain Gaganard Chassagne Montrachet Rouge 2016

Red fruits dominate the nose and on the palate it has similar notes combined with a juicy acidity and a crunchy finish. An excellent offering to drink in the next 3 or 4 years.

The 6 bottle case contains one bottle of each wine; the 12 bottle case contains two bottles of each wine.
